We have been planning this Richland engagement session for months! I was so excited to get to meet Nate and Jacqueline in person. They’re just as fun in person as they are on the phone. We had a blast exploring down at the Chamna Natural Preserve, and the weather really held out for us. It had been blowing 15+ mph, but by the time we did the session, it had slowed down significantly. I love the long summer days in June, and with our sunset being around 9 PM, our session was pretty late! These two stuck it out and did great! I’m so excited for their wedding this summer!
These two met when they were at school at WSU. She was getting her Masters degree and he was getting his PhD. They were assigned the same desk in an office space, and at first, they spent a bit of time together because they were both working late, but then started to go out more. with just the two of them. It got more serious, and here we are today. Nate proposed on the 4th of July, complete with fireworks! Jacqueline had no idea and she told me she was shocked, surprised, and just started hysterically laughing. Eventually, she regained her composure and said yes.
These two had some practice before our session though. They were able to get some engagement photos done by Nate’s sister our at Twin Sisters months ago, which are beautiful, so we wanted to get more down by the river. These two were pros. They made it so easy to work with them, even if they had each other looking like cyclops because I kept having them put their heads so close together. HA!
Nate and Jacqueline- thanks for hanging out with me after your long day of truck shopping! I’m so excited for your wedding day and the magic we’ll create that day as well!! Relax, enjoy the process, we’re getting you married soon!!
