I love working with other vendors, and one of my favorite ways (besides REAL wedding days) is collaborating on a styled shoot. Styled shoots are basically like planning a wedding, and because of that, I only do so once a year, and this year we ending up with this gorgeous Oakshire Estate wedding inspiration shoot. If you missed it last week, I headed out there to scope things out, and it got me even MORE excited for our shoot!
Once I saw Oakshire around March and heard they were slowly starting to offer their beautiful property to brides, I knew this was the place! It’s everything my Southern loving heart would be- a beautiful red brick home, the most majestic white pillars surrounding the home, and perfect landscaping throughout the grounds. There’s so many amazing locations for photos, it’s a hard venue to beat!
We wanted to make our shoot felt like you could have been whisked away to the South, with plantation/southern garden vibes, all the while nestled in good ol’ central Washington.
With styled shoots, I always love to give the vendors some creative freedom. We’re all professionals, and I know there’s always some amazing ideas that other vendors have thought of, and I love capitalizing on that. This shoot was more than everything I could have dreamed of thanks to these amazing creative minds of my vendors. Place-card cookies, laser cut save the date, the most beautiful signage hand sketched, and I can’t forget to mention the stunning dress from Grace Loves Lace and our tux from The Black Tux.
Guys!!! I’m just over here overwhelmed with gratitude for the amazing vendors that came together for this shoot with me. And now I’ll go ahead and share it because I can’t keep it to myself any longer.
