I don’t generally photograph winter weddings, but when I got the inquiry for Dawn and Candy’s December wedding, they were so excited to have me as their photographer that I couldn’t turn them down! Candy made the comment that she thought we would get along well, and after meeting them for their Lake Chelan engagement session, I’d say she was spot on!

I was in Chelan for Mansel and Rita’s beautiful Karma Vineyards wedding this weekend, and when these two told me that they would like to do their engagement session at Chelan, I figured it would be the perfect time to make it happen! I had been watching the weather all week and it had gone back and forth between rain and no rain, but with a fairly early start time (8:30 AM), we were able to dodge more wind and get away with no rain as well! We walked around the Chelan River walking trail, one of the public docks, as well as over the bridge of the Chelan river, and talked quite a bit! It was fun getting to know these two more and I’m so excited for their wintery, Christmassy wedding this December at one of my favorite venues- Pine River Ranch. 

Candy and Dawn, thanks again for meeting me out in Chelan!! It was great getting to know you more, and I’m so excited to get to celebrate with you in December!! It will be here before we know it! Have the best time at Disneyland!!!
