Lake Chelan is one of the most beautiful places this state has to offer, and I have been so excited for this Karma Vineyards Wedding. Last year, I met up with these two down in Arizona when we did their engagement session! We hadn’t originally planned to do an engagement session, but I was in the area and reached out to see if they wanted to meet up. There were up for it, and I had the best time with them! It got me even more excited for their beautiful wedding day, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. There were so many amazing parts of the day that I don’t know where to start so I’ll just rapid-fire this. See below for some highlights of the day.
THE.BEST.WEDDING.PARTY.
These two had the sweetest wedding party out there. Everyone was so kind, so helpful, and was a part of these two’s wedding day because they love them so much. It was so awesome watching everyone and seeing how much love they have for each other. There were many different stories of how and where they met but all came together for these two awesome humans at this Karma Vineyards wedding.
Three words- white bridesmaids dresses
I had seen this trend on social media among my wedding photographer friends. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but I actually really loved it!! The girls looked killer in their white dresses. Their bridesmaid’s photos are probably some of the favorites I have taken. So stunning!
Rain and Rainbows during this Karma Vineyards Wedding
During their ceremony, the heavens opened and it started to sprinkle. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, but the coolest part was the rainbow in the background. Check it out during the ceremony!!
Native American Blessing
Rita’s grandfather gave these two and their marriage a Native American blessing during their Karma Vineyards wedding ceremony. It was something that I hadn’t seen before, but it was one of the coolest things I have seen. It was special for them to be able to add a part of Rita’s heritage to the ceremony. It was pretty awesome.
Dancing queens at this Karma Vineyards Wedding
I know that these two went to WSU, and there’s a reason it’s known as a party school (HA!). Knowing that, I knew they would have the most epic dance party, and I even stayed longer than expected because I knew I’d get some fun dancing shots. I don’t usually have many dancing photos on my blog posts, but I couldn’t help it with these guys. We had so much fun dancing! It was the perfect ending to a great day.
Mansel and Rita- Thank you again for being amazing hosts, and putting together one heck of an event. I loved being able to be a part of it, and I’m excited to see what adventures are ahead for you two (and Apache)! Congrats again, Mr. and Mrs. Carter! Go Cougs!
