I loved every bit of this Lake Chelan Engagement session!!!! I Facetimed with these two just a few weeks after Aynsley’s lovely mother reached out to me about shooting her daughter’s wedding this summer. We had an awesome Facetime chat, we got everything official, and then it just so happened that they were going to be in Chelan doing some wedding things this weekend. If you’ve been around here at all, you know i’m no stranger to adventures, and seeing that I haven’t got to shoot around there for a while (my last one was here), I was super stoked to be able to go back over this weekend!
It was a little chilly during their session, but these two were complete pros! We laughed a ton, joked about serial killer side eyes, and these two explored the mountain up above Lake Chelan with me. It made me even more excited for their wedding this summer, and me and Aynsley were both very appreciative that it will be much warmer come their wedding day.
We saw it all during their engagement session- sun, rain, you could see the snow up further in the mountains, there was a little breeze, but it didn’t really hit us until the sun went back behind the clouds then it got chilly. The joys of shooting in the mountains!
When these two aren’t working, you can find them snuggled up at home. When I asked them what they liked to do together, they told me most of the time they just stay home together. I think that’s SO important in any marriage- to not feel like you always have to be DOING something, but just spending the time together is perfect. One of the times they did go out and do something fun was the night that Austin proposed to Aynsley. They headed to the ferris wheel in Seattle. Once they were at the top, Austin asked her to be his forever. You guys know the rest….
I’m so excited for their wedding this summer at Rocky Pond Winery. Thanks again you two for being troopers in the cold!!!
