I know it’s always going to be a beautiful day when I have a wedding at Terra Blanca Winery. The vendors for this wedding are some of the best local vendors, and I knew when I saw Megan’s vendor list, I knew it was going to be a beautiful day when it all came together!
The nerves were running a little high throughout the beginning of the day, but these two were put at ease once they finally got to see each other during their first look! You could practically see the nerves release from the two of them when they were able to give each other a big hug. It was the sweetest thing. With Sean and Megan’s choice to go with a first look before the ceremony, we were able to get the majority of their photos done before their ceremony. Their ceremony was a beautiful, intimate event in front of Terra Blanca’s original wine caves. Their beautiful blue wooden doors are the perfect backdrop for any wedding ceremony. These two recited traditional vows but also wrote their own personal vows. Sean vowed to always kill the big spiders for Megan, and Megan vowed to always support him, even when she doesn’t agree with his choices. HA! They performed a sand ceremony to signify themselves coming together, unable to be separated like the grains of sand. I think it’s so cute when couples add in the visual of something like a sand ceremony. I think it helps out brain to remember such an important event.
They said I do, they kissed, and then they celebrated with friends and family-lots of family. They had family that had come from the corners of the earth it seemed like!
It was clear during toasts that the last 7+ years of their relationship had been full of love and support. Support from their families, support from each other, they really raise each other up, and their families (I’m sure) are a large part of that. Both of their families were so kind the entire day and so much help!
Of course, it isn’t a true wedding at Terra Blanca winery without ending the day in the wine caves, so we had to sneak down there quickly after all their reception formalities. It’s so beautiful down there, and the photos never disappoint. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful day.
Sean and Megan- CONGRATS! You are now husband and wife!! I can’t believe it came and went, but I’m so excited to see what adventures you guys have in store next. Thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing me to be a part of it!
