One of my favorite parts of living in central Washington is the closeness everything is. These two traveled over the Cascades for their Vantage engagement session, and I’m so happy they did! They’re getting married in Ellensburg this year, and after their engagement session and getting to know them even better, I’m so excited to work with them again! We laughed a ton, joked around about how awkward our senior photos were, and compared crazy vet stories of our dogs. It was so much fun!
Like quite a few of my clients and me and my husband, these two were high school sweethearts!! They met at a get together after their junior homecoming dance. Josh texted Tanna a week or so later, and then they started hanging out. The rest is history!
Their proposal story is so great! Some of their friends in Ellensburg got together with Josh and formulated a plan to make Tanna think they needed help with their photography class- which wasn’t actually real. They needed some models and asked Tanna if they could make it happen with her and Josh. She was up for it, so they planned on heading to Ellensburg on their way to Pendleton one weekend. During our session, we laughed about how awkward their “photoshoot” was for an hour and half, but it ended pretty great. After they headed down an old forestry road, Josh proposed! They had a great view of Ellensburg, and the photos to prove it. Tanna said she had a lot of happy tears during it all. So sweet!
I had so much fun during their engagement session, and then the told me they wanted to pop champagne at the end of the session, and those shots were SO much fun! I love when my clients add fun “props”, and that was probably one of my favorites. HA! But enough of me rambling, check it out this Vantage engagement session for yourself! 🙂
