Wedding days are pretty crazy as a wedding photographer, a good majority of the time, and I couldn’t imagine what it would be like to have your second shooter call you the DAY OF the wedding to let you know that they can’t make it. I’m pretty sure my heart would sink, and panic would start, and I would be left struggling to find another second shooter. This is kind of similar situation to what led me to second shoot this Tagaris Winery Wedding with Jessica of J.M.Hunter Photography. I was available, and was able to find someone to watch my monster 2 year old, and luckily it all worked out for both of us!

I had an amazing time shooting with Jessica. She’s a stellar photographer, and it really was a dream getting the chance to do so! We worked pretty well together too, so that’s always fun! 😀 It’s always fun to network with other amazing photographers in our area! Jessica is out of Yakima, WA, but she shoots ALL over- Bahamas, Mexico, the entire PNW, and she does it with two little babies at home. Seriously my idol!!!!

The wedding day was really amazing. Full of love and friends and family of the bride of groom. Lots of emotion. It was amazing! I did get water thrown on me at one point (it was an accident, ha! I wasn’t stirring up trouble. Promise!), the cops showed up, and I almost hit a HUUUUGE bull elk on the way home, but that’s another story for another day!
