The blustery wind and a high chance of rain could have been tragic for any wedding day but this Promise Garden wedding was absolutely perfect, crazy weather and all.

I have been waiting for Travis and Krissy’s wedding for almost a year now and it really was a perfect day. They had a quaint ceremony and reception with their family and friends at Promise Garden, and you could just see how excited they were to finally be husband and wife.

The day went so smoothly! I showed up to the girls getting ready first thing. They were enjoying their hair and makeup prep time, listening to good music, and it was the perfect atmosphere to get the bridal details out of the way. And Amy Rene Makeup Artistry made the girls look amazing, as always! After hair and makeup were all taken care of, then it was time for Krissy’s first look with her dad. I always love taking the time to let the bride and her dad have a special little moment. It’s always a good one, and usually gets me teared up a bit. I’m a daddy’s girl, what can I say!? 🙂 They had their special moment together, and then it was time for business! We had Travis and Krissy’s first look just in front of Promise Garden’s archway of hop vines, and then went straight into their portraits for the day. Our time for photos went by so quick, and it was so smooth! These two are just adorable and make my job just too dang easy! 😀 Krissy was a stunning bride!!

After all the formal photos were taken care of, we tucked Krissy away before the guests started showing up, and it was finally time for the real thing! The ceremony was one of the quickest, but it was absolutely heart-felt! Krissy and Travis promised to love each other and support each other through life, and Travis also promised to step into the roll of dad to Krissy’s adorable daughter! It was such a special thing! They even gave her a little ring during the ceremony. So sweet!

The reception was as great as the ceremony. With some yummy food for Castle Catering, some yummy cupcakes from Frost Me Sweet, and some of the best toasts I’ve heard all wedding season, it was just a blast of a party!

I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of such a special day! Congrats Travis and Krissy! I can’t wait to see what you guys can conquer together next! 😀 Huge shoutout to their amazing vendors that helped make the day possible!!!
