I just love shooting in the Pacific Northwest during the year!! I get to document so many different seasons, and it’s even better being a PNW Family Photographer. I get beautiful images of some great families, and I know what you’re thinking…ANOTHER CHRISTENSEN FAMILY SESSION!? oh yes. Another. 🙂

Over Christmas, we got to see one of my brother-in-law’s family that we rarely get to see. We had tried to get our big family photo done a few days before Christmas, but one of the families was late to the party, and we ended up postponing it until Christmas Day due to lack of light, but I figured I would get some photos of the people that were there, and I love what we got! My mother-in-law said “those boys will give you a run for your money!” and they did, but I was able to get some super cute shots of them.

If i’m having a hard time keeping boys attention, I know I can always get them to laugh by talking about poop or farting because, well, boys are gross. These boys didn’t disappoint with their silly smiles after I made jokes about the latter.

I love being able to take photos for my clients, but I really love being able to do it for family. Not only does it give me images to use on my “family wall” at home, but it gives them images to remember that time in their lives (whether they want to or not! HA!!).

I kept trying to get these two to get closer and closer, and she kept backing away! 😛
