I have been so ready to get back into weddings this year since my spring weddings, and this beautiful Elk Ridge wedding was the perfect way to start my summer season. I don’t think I have ever had a wedding with such a perfect backdrop for the ceremony. You guys are going to die when you see it. The crazy thing was that it came out beautifully in photos, but it was even better in real life. This one will be a hard one to beat!

Working with these two throughout their engagement session has been so easy. They are laid-back and easy-going and I knew that their wedding day was going to be the same. When the minute I got there, I felt like I was an old friend, and their friends and family were so helpful throughout the day. So many people pitched in and helped when they needed to make their wedding day amazing.

Their wedding was out at the Elk Ridge Campground in Naches, and their ceremony was on the mountaintop just up from the campground. One of the many perks of your future husband knowing all the logging/fire roads in the mountains is he knows the perfect spots in cases like this. Their ceremony overlooked the beautiful snow-capped mountains, the sun was shining, the breeze wasn’t too crazy, and it was absolutely breathtaking.

After their ceremony, we headed back down to camp for the cutest reception area at the campground with yummy food (thanks to many family members) and good cupcakes. Cory, Jenna, and her girls shared the sweetest first dance all together- there were tears. It really was a beautiful day.
