I loved this garden engagement session in Ellensburg last week!! It’s always a fun challenge for me when people try to tell me how awkward they are in front of the camera, and then I prove them wrong. HA! These two were great, and they definitely weren’t awkward. We spent the evening at Olmstead Place State Park wandering through the tall grasses and gorgeous flowers with their sweet pup, Harper. She is the sweetest 1-year-old black lab!
These two met on a good ol’ online dating app, but their first date was a three-day hunting trip. Both of these two have been hunting since they were little (Dani’s first deer was bigger…), and they spend a lot of time together outdoors, hunting, shed hunting, fishing, and traveling! Andrew proposed when they were shed-hunting, overlooking their future wedding venue. There is a chance he made jokes about going bear hunting above the venue the day of the wedding, but we won’t mention much of that. HA!
We had a good time, amidst getting eaten by mosquitos, talking about mutual friends, and how Andrew’s dad and grandpa were dentists! Dani told me crazy nursing stories, and we just had a good time getting to know each other! Of course, we had to end the session poppin’ some champagne! I’m SO excited about their wedding next summer! It’s going to be such a fun one! For now, you get to see how cute they are…
The future Mr. and Mrs. Wenzen…
