This wedding at The Armory in Ellensburg was extra special for me! I have know Stella since she was in high school when she started working in the dental office I work at to help us out! I’ve known her for years, and was so excited when she asked if I could be her wedding photographer. Leading up to the day, we were a little worried as the weather forecast tossed the option for snow or rain back and forth, but it ended up being perfect. It was a little chilly, but we couldn’t have asked for better weather mid-December.
I couldn’t believe the work that these two and their families put in to make The Armory look so amazing!! I hadn’t been there before, but had only seen the images online of it, and they completely transformed the space! It was like a winter wonderland wedding!
These two wrote their own vows, but knew that they would be a mess if they tried to read them so their officiant, who is also Stella’s grandma, read them and I loved that. I’ve said it time and time again, I think it’s SO special when the officiant knows the couple, and it makes it that much more personal when it happens that way. Her grandma did an amazing job for the ceremony.
These two are off driving down to their honeymoon, but I wanted to get these out here as soon as I could to give Stella something to do on their way down to California.
Andrew and Stella- I’m SO excited for the two of you. It’s pretty apparent that you guys love each other and are each other’s best friends and that’s SO important in a marriage. Always make time for each other, even when you don’t feel like it. Always love each other, and remember, sometimes you won’t like each other…HA! But always love each other. Congrats!!!!
