You would never know it by the photos, but we were a little chilly during this wintery desert engagement session. These two were troopers to do their session on the day we did it. We had just gotten a little less than an inch of snow the day before, but the weather held out the day of their shoot. We didn’t get anymore snow, but it was cold. Luckily, these two were able to do a pretty great job keeping each other warm, and they made my job so easy we got done in record time.

These two met in high school, but didn’t really start dating until last year. I was pleased to hear that Madisyn had helped Dakota for a photography class, and though he didn’t get a super grade in the glass, the help brought the two of them together. They are adorable together, and I had such a fun time with them.

Dakota is in the Marines, and we had a small time frame to get their engagement session done with their wedding coming up in March, but I was happy we got to make it happen. I cannot wait for their wedding next spring. It’s going to be a great day!
