I was so honored to photograph another Barn at Blue Meadow weddings. I found that this was their last wedding of the year, and it was a perfect one to end on.

The Barn at Blue Meadows is one of my favorite wedding venues. I was worried leading up to Gran and Fiona’s wedding day about how hot it would be. The forecast was calling for 90 degrees, and the joke was on me because I thought all my super hot wedding days were over. Luckily, the Barn is nestled into a canyon just outside of Dayton and is surrounded by beautiful pine trees to help keep the area cooler. Don’t get me wrong, the sun was hot, but once you got in the shade and even after the sun went down, it was the perfect temps.

These two had a beautiful wedding day filled with family and close friends. One thing I am always surprised of is when a wedding day is on time. These two are so easy going and their wedding day was no different. Over the ten years of doing this, I have found that when my clients have that attitude, their wedding day is so much more stress free. It creates an atmosphere where they are allowed to enjoy their wedding day which I think is way more important.

Congrats Grant and Fiona!! Thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding day! Your honeymoon may not be until December, but I’m still jealous you’ll be in sunny Mexico while the rest of us freeze at home.
