I loved this rustic Ellensburg wedding at Sweetwater Ranch! It has been a few years since I have been able to make it out there, and it was a great time! I knew this wedding would be great because I photographed this sweet bride’s older sister’s wedding just a few years ago! And I also have known the family for years. It’s always fun to see their family members year and year at weddings.

The weather was pretty great, really! We were all worried about possible thunderstorms throughout the day, but it held out until right during dinner when everyone was mostly inside! The weather was a little warm, but a vast thunderhead blocked the sun during the ceremony which was really nice- lighting-wise and weather-wise.

This wedding had me choking up a few times! Between her dad letting a few tears slip while he was walking her down the aisle, to the mother/son dance at the reception, it was such a special day for these two and their families! There were also some funny parts of the day including the groomsmen pulling a prank on the groom during the garter toss. Be sure to check that out!
