I absolutely LOVED shooting this Pine River Ranch Wedding! Located just past Leavenworth, it’s a perfect location for a fall wedding! This one is a great example of that!

Have you ever met someone that you know, like deep down in your bones, you just know that they are a great person. I knew from the first time I met with Kerrie and her soon-to-be sister-in-law that she has a heart of gold. It was pretty apparent as I got to meet her family this weekend when that all stems from. Her family was so gracious, and so loving, and helped Kerrie and Travis celebrate in becoming husband and wife.

It’s hard to believe that it wasn’t too long ago that we were shooting Kerrie and Travis’ engagement photos in Leavenworth.  We had a blast during their session. Got to do a little exploring, and they had the opportunity to get more comfortable in front of my camera. I love engagement sessions for that exact reason, and it made their bride and groom portraits on the big day SO easy and quick. They knew just what I wanted them to do, when I wanted to do it, and you could just see how happy they were to finally -almost- be husband and wife.

They had a short ceremony, officiated by the grooms sister! I always LOVE when a couple had someone marrying them that actually KNOW them! It just seems like it means so much more when they really know the couple. It was heart-felt and just special. From the poem that Kerrie’s son picked, to Travis’ perfect vows (he vowed to always gut her deer. HA!) there wasn’t many dry eyes in the house, and plenty of happy faces.

They celebrated the night away in the barn. Dancing to great music, enjoying each others company, and hearing story upon story during toasts. Including fun stories of Kerrie’s dad’s pickup truck! It has an air horn…and he used it to send them off..Side note: it was SO loud! No one will forget that! 🙂

I’m truly honored to be able to get to know these two amazing people and the families they come from. Kerrie and Travis (and Jack!) I can’t wait to see the new adventures you guys have in store for you!!! I wish you guys all the happiness in the world, and have a BLAST in Montana! 😀
