I love shooting this Othello Maternity session. I keep saying this, like every other blog I write, and I’m almost positive people are tired of hearing it. I don’t shoot families, hardly ever. I don’t shoot maternity sessions, hardly ever. But when I have past clients that REALLY want to work with me, I can’t turn them down. Those people that stuck with me when I was first starting out, and continue to follow me through all of this, I love those people, and I can’t turn my back on them now! 🙂
Just last year I was able to take photograph Anica’s little girls cake smash session, and it was one of the cutest one’s I’ve seen, so when she got in touch with me about doing their maternity photos, I knew I had to do it. I can’t believe this girls’ C-section date is in like 2 weeks because she looks AMAZING!
I can only hope I look as good as she does with my second (when that time comes..i’m not making any announcements. HA!). This little family is one of the cutest. We talked about puppies, and played with pine cones, and their sweet little girl is every bit of two years old as they come. I loved our short time together!
I always made fun of maternity sessions before I had a baby, but I knew once I was actually pregnant that I wanted to do it at least once. I wanted to document that I actually WAS pregnant at one time, and had great hair, and looked way too tired, and got to experience all that pregnancy was to offer. I’m grateful I got to do it for Anica for her second one. 🙂 I hope she looks back at these and remembers all the good things about their family during this stage of life!
