I love being a photographer for families. Like entire families. This sweet momma is sisters with one of my favorite people in the world, and I was SO happy when she contacted me during her pregnancy to inquire about newborn photos. After she was born, we set up a time to do the session, and I just LOVE the images that we got! This little girl was named after her sweet grandma, Jane, and she is welcomed by her two crazy older brothers! 😀
I haven’t been marketing myself much for newborn photography. Part of it is because my real love is weddings and engagements, but I really do love spending time with these squishy little humans. Newborn photography is tough. It takes time. It takes patience. It takes sweating in a house for close to 4 hours because you wanted them to bump the heat up to 80+ degrees. Meanwhile you wrap and unwrap, pose and un-pose, these tiny humans, while they fall asleep and then wake up because you keep messing with their hands or their feet. It’s tough, but this little baby girl made it SO easy for me. She fell asleep after her momma fed her when I first showed up. We wrapped her the first time and the second time and the third time and she slept through it all. She’s a sweet, sweet baby girl, and I know her older brothers are going to be the best protectors of her.
Thanks Kendra for having me and letting me document this sweet girl.
