This year has been slower for some, definitely in the wedding world, but that doesn’t mean that people aren’t still living their lives-some getting married, some buying houses, and some growing their families. I’ve been pretty fortunate to get to shoot a few of these lifestyle newborn sessions this year, and I’ve loved it. I stepped away from doing super posed newborn sessions for sometime, but these lifestyle session are fun for me to get to shoot something different than weddings.

This one was especially good for me because I’ve literally been there through it all with these guys!!! It all started during with their engagement session, then to their wedding, their maternity session, and now the sweet addition of their baby girl. I was so excited during their maternity session (see it here) that Rocio had asked if I would be able to do their newborn photos too!! I didn’t think it was going to work out with our schedules, but IT DID, and that made me happy. I’ve been honored to get to capture so many great moments for these two.

I was even more excited for this shoot when I saw sweet baby Sophia’s nursery!! These two work at the schools and with everything happening with COVID, they had a lot of time at home to work on the nursery. It turned out so dang cute-like magazine status cute. It went perfectly with their adorable baby girl.
