It’s always a great time to head to Leavenworth for a wedding. It’s fun to get to drive through the Bulgarian village and see all the happy people walking the sidewalks, and that was exceptionally true for this intimate Pine River Ranch Wedding. I photographed these two just a month or so ago on Snoqualmie Pass, and we had so much fun- I was so excited for this wedding to happen! They warned me that their wedding party may be a little rowdy, but to me, the rowdier the better. HA! It makes it more fun anyways.

I loved how intimate this wedding way. With only around 40+ guests, the couple was able to chat with all their guests, and it seemed more personal. For someone who also had a smaller wedding myself, I absolutely love them! I feel like sometimes with very large weddings, you don’t even get to visit with all your guests, and that’s a little sad!

I loved the maroon bridesmaids dresses, the soft bouquets and florals, but the BEST part can only be described with two words- Flower Dude. HA! Oh my gosh, I was laughing so hard when one of Jon’s groomsmen doubled back after he walked down the aisle once and came back with a fire-engine red fanny pack filled with rose petals for him to scatter down the aisle with the bride to follow. Included was a lap dance to his lady friend in the aisle. SO.FUNNY. I’m so glad I got to photography at least one flower dude this summer- my wedding season is complete. 😛

Can we say “outfit change”? Jon choose to wear his dress whites for their first look and initial bride and groom portraits, but then changed into his suit for the remainder of the day. I loved that! They looked SO good for our first portrait part of the day. It was a perfect way to start!

After their beautiful ceremony that they chose to do their own personal vows, a capsule wine box, and their first kiss and husband and wife, they celebrated with their families. It was a great day!

Jon and Kristen- I hope you guys have the BEST time on your honeymoon on Oahu. I can’t wait to see all your photos! Thanks again for letting me celebrate with you guys and your families! I’m excited to see what adventures you’ll go on next!! Congrats!!!
