It’s been amazing this year just being focused on my bride and grooms, and other couples. I feel like I’ve been able to be a better photographer for those that I’ve gotten the chance to serve, but when the opportunity comes to photograph a past bride, I don’t hesitate!! Especially when my past bride is going to be a momma soon!! That’s how it was for this Ellensburg maternity session!

Hannah and Sean were one of my amazing 2016 couples, and though their May wedding was rainy, and a tad chilly, these guys took it in stride on their wedding day! It was only fitting that when we did their maternity photos that it was raining as well. Fortunately for us, we didn’t have to be outside all day that day though. I met up with these two on a brisk fall day at the Olmstead Park outside of Ellensburg. I’m never disappointed when I shoot out there, and that’s especially true in the fall time. Around my house, I feel like the trees don’t change colors until November, so it’s always fun to get the chance to head closer the mountains to see all those gorgeous fall colors. They never disappoint!

I’m so excited for these two to be able to be new parents!! Hannah, you’re going to LOVE being a girl mom, and everyone is probably going to tell you how to survive that first little while. My advice: take it with a grain of salt, and sometimes, you just have to survive! 🙂
