This Eastmont High Class of 2018 senior shoot was SO DANG FUN. I loved getting to know this gorgeous girl, and laughing with her momma. We had a great time up in Leavenworth! The weather was a little chilly, with snow dusted on the mountain tops, but it was absolutely gorgeous with all the fall colors out there.
Emily is a senior at Eastmont High in Wenatchee, and one thing is for sure. This girl is going to do amazing things! I’m sure she thinks i’m crazy by now, but we laughed a ton, saw a bunch of cute dogs from other people around the area, and chatted all about what her plans are after high school. Emily isn’t your average senior. I know when I was a senior, senior-itis had set in STRONG. I was ready to be done with school at that point, ready to get out of my parent’s house, and I was positive I had life all figured out. This pretty girl LIKES school-which is a good thing. She loves to play basketball, and is waiting to decide where she’ll go for college depending on where she’ll get the best scholarship for just that. One of her options is the Air Force, and I think that’s pretty stinkin’ awesome. She also plays trumpet, and we laughed about how ‘fun’ it is to march in parades when it’s winter (read: it’s not fun at all….just freezing).
She has plans to go into forensic psychology, which I think is SUPER cool. I always wanted to do something to do with forensic science. Heck, at one time, I wanted to be a coroner (insert shocked face here). Her dad is a retired state patrolman and so she’s been around that her whole life. She told me she likes to draw, and she’s pretty good at it, especially the details. That’s always important! She’s passionate about those things, and that is a HUGE help when it comes to trying to figure out life after high school. This girl is SHARP.
We did her session out at the Old Pipeline Bed Trailhead and I’m never disappointed when it comes to doing sessions out there. It’s gorgeous ALL during the year, but there’s something magical about the fall time. All the colors have changed, the water isn’t roaring like it is during spring and early summer, and if you’re lucky, some duckies will come join you. It was a perfect fall senior session!
Emily! Thanks for hanging out with me and not thinking i’m absolutely crazy! 🙂 I’m excited to see where you end up going for college, and seeing everything you accomplish!!! Good luck!! 😀
