Wedding season is HERE, and I was so excited to be a part of this Creekstone Gardens Wedding! I met up with these two what feels like ages ago for their beautiful engagement session, and I can hardly believe their big day has come and gone! We had the best day for a May wedding! We were supposed to have record breaking hot temps, but thanks to some good ol’ eastern Washington winds, things stayed cooler, and these two had a beautiful wedding day. I started the day off with one of my favorites parts of the day- bridal details.
The bride and best man have had an on-going joke about who the real love of Chris’ life was…so naturally the best man needed to do a first look with the groom before the bride. The dress was the groom’s mom’s wedding dress which didn’t fit the best man very well which just made it funnier.
You could practically see the nerves with Chris, and then when he turned around the wheels were turning trying to figure out what exactly was going on….the other groomsmen got a kick out of it too.
Then I assured Chris that his actual wife was coming out next. No more silly business.
After their first look, these two decided to read their vows privately- with plenty of tears included.
The grounds for this Creekstone Gardens Wedding was absolutely gorgeous! There are so many pretty locations for portraits!
Chris had a very cool pocket watch that has been in his family for years. We had to get photos of that!
Cassiah had a BEAUTIFUL cathedral veil. We also decided that if we were stranded on a deserted island with only one item, it would be a wedding dress and veil. You could use it as a bug net.
I loved the bridesmaids in their dusty blue dresses. It is definitely a top 5 favorite color for wedding days!
And the boys looked just a sharp with their navy suits! Cassiah’s little brothers also made the best “ring security” with ear pieces and all!
Any Creekstone Gardens Wedding would have the most perfect location for the ceremony in plenty of shade for the guests! You don’t have to worry about anyone melting in the heat of summer!
One of my favorite parts of this Creekstone Gardens Wedding was the bride and groom performing a foot washing ceremony. Their officiant read the passage in the scriptures about Christ washing his disciples feet and how it was a perfect example of how we should serve of significant others. So special!
And they sealed it with a kiss!
The bride and grooms entrance to the reception was a fun one full of light sabers!
When one of your bridesmaids and her boyfriend have a Mandalorian and Storm Trooper helmet, you HAVE to take a photo with them…
And it’s definitely a moodier edit than what you would normally see, but it’s worth it! HAHA!
We ended their beautiful Creekstone Garden wedding up the road in a field as the sun went down. It was a beautiful day followed by a perfect evening.
Congrats you two!! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!
