I have been waiting for this classy cabin wedding for what feels like forever! There were a few moments of panic when I heard about the Schneider Springs Fire that’s been ravaging the hills around Travis’ family’s cabin, but luckily, the fire avoided the area (but it did get really close), and these two were able to have a beautiful wedding day! The rain the day prior helped clear out the terrible smoke they had been having. The sky was clear, the weather was perfect, and you only heard helicopters flying over a few times.
It was fun being out at Travis’ family’s cabin. The last time I was out there was for Travis’ brother, Ryan’s wedding over 10 years ago! Justin was in his wedding, and I just got to be a guest. It was probably one of the last weddings I was a guest at! HA!
Their families did so much to make their wedding beautiful! I love working with my couples and getting to know them, but it may be even more fun when I know them besides just being their wedding photographer. The groomsmen probably had too much fun during their portraits, and I laughed the whole time. They kept at it with their shenanigans all day, but it made for an eventful, entertaining day.
Travis and Arianna– CONGRATS! I’m so excited for you guys to start this new adventure together! It was an honor to get to be there on your big day, and it really turned out perfect! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!!
Enough rambling….I’ll show you the goods.
