A week ago, I gave you 10 things NOT to do a week before your wedding day, but here is a bridal beauty checklist for things that you should! Getting ready for a wedding is no joke, and should be happening long before the month of the wedding! Here’s a timeline of events of your preparation for the big day!
Bridal Beauty Checklist
6-9 Months Before
–Start a wedding day binder or pinterest inspiration board for the big day
–Talk to a professional about what you should be doing for your skin daily
–Research salons and hair and make-up artists
3 Months Before
–This is when you start playing with different self or spray tanners!
–Start whitening teeth- either in-home or by your dentist
–Start wedding hair and makeup trials
1 Month Before
–If you’re using self tanner, start using now to get a good “base color”
–Moisturize!! and eat healthy leading up to your big day!
–You should have your skincare regimen down by this point, keep it up!
2 Weeks Before
–Put together your call time for all vendors and members of your beauty team
–Schedule your mani-pedi and any other spa treatments (exfoliate, wax, etc.)
1 Week Before
–Deep condition your hair
–Get any waxing and your final spa treatment done
1-2 Days Before
–Get your mani-pedi done
–Wash your hair for the last time before the wedding day
Wedding Day
–Shower 4-5 hours before your call-time with a shower cap
–Get your hair done AT LEAST 3 hours before pictures begin, or the ceremony starts
–Get your makeup done an hour before photos begin, or the ceremony starts
–Make sure to grab your “touch-up” necessities
–Put on your favorite perfume before you go
–SMILE!!!
