Trust me on this one….The bride isn’t the only one that get’s nervous on her wedding day. The groom is usually a mess of nerves too, but chances are, he’s better at hiding it. Perks of being a guy or something, I guess. There are things that you (as his significant other) can do to ease his nerves a little, and add some of his personality to the wedding. Here’s 5 ways to surprise your groom at the wedding!

Bridal Party Fun

This one works best if you’re not planning on having a first look. You can have your bridal party as they are walking down the aisle show him a little note! This should get him more excited to see his stunning wife!

PC: The Lovely Find

Another option for this one is just have your girls text him! Another fun way to get him anxious to see you! This option could work better if you’re planning a first look before the ceremony.

Engrave His Wedding Band

It can be a scripture, your wedding date, or a phrase that you always say to each other. Either way, it will make his band that much more meaningful to him! And he’ll love the extra thought you put into it!

Plan a Private Moment

This is one of the reasons I LOVE a first look. It’s the perfect chance to take a moment for just the two of you. You can talk, interact, and just enjoy being with each other. Without a first look, and without time planned for such a thing, the chances of you two being alone during your wedding day is slim to none. Another option if you choose to not have a first look is to pull you away during the cocktail hour and get some romantic portraits just the two of you. I’m great at being discrete, and you won’t even know i’m there!

Include His Favorite Food

Whether it’s sliders and mini hot-dogs during the cocktail hours, or a taco truck at the end of the night this can be a fun way to personalize your wedding for something that your groom will love. You know what they say is the way to a man’s heart! 😉

Take Some Boudoir Photos for Him

This is a trend that I happen to love! 🙂 It definitely doesn’t have to be trashy, but you can personalize it by wearing his favorite sports jersey or button up shirt!
