The other day on one of my wedding photographer groups on Facebook, someone had mentioned using the website Polyvore for creating outfit ideas for clients for their engagement photos! I had seen many pictures from Polyvore on Pinterest but never knew what it really was. I’m SO grateful that I checked it out though! Polyvore is a website that you can pick different outfit pieces, and put it together! It helps me SO much when trying to show clients what I recommend for outfits for engagement photos! It’s pretty much my new favorite thing! You pick your favorite top, bottom, and accessories, even shoes or bags! For me, it makes things easier to make sure everything fits together. I’m a very visual person and it helps me out to see the outfits “on paper,” if you will.

Once I found Polyvore and started playing with it, I couldn’t stop! So I thought I would bring to you some of the outfits that I put together for engagement session outfit ideas! This wasn’t the first collection of outfits I put together, but it was definitely one of the most fun! I loved the little details I added to both the guy and the girl’s outfit!

This next one was also WAY too much fun. I wanted to pick some outfits that were more elegant, and classic. I loved the colors in this one!

One tip when it comes to picking what you and your fiancé are going to wear– think about the details. Whether it’s getting him to wear a watch or what earrings and necklace you are going to wear, the details really make the outfit! So go out there and accessorize. 🙂
