It’s pretty much a weekly thing that I’m constantly being reminded how awesome Eastern Washington is. It was no different with this Vantage Crags Maternity Session. The crags are an area just north of Vantage, the city, where rock climbers go to climb some of the coolest rock formations I’ve seen, and for campers to camp right on the ridge overlooking a little waterfall. As I was driving down to our location, I was reminded that I shot my FIRST EVER maternity session down there, and I think we’re all grateful that this one turned out much better. Hooray for improvement, right? HA.

Thinking about it, I don’t know if I remember how I even met Bre. Maybe it was on a photography Facebook group, maybe it was because I loved her [photography] work, but however it happened, i’m so grateful that it did. Bre helped me at the end of last year with one of my Leavenworth weddings, and she made the day so much better. She’s easy to work with, and doesn’t think I’m too crazy (which is always a plus), and makes my job easy. I’m so excited to be working my first wedding of the season with her this Saturday!! EEK!

When I found out that Bre was pregnant, I was so stinking excited for her. Being a mom is one of the best, though trying, things ever, and I know her and her hubby will make the cutest baby, ever. So there’s that. 🙂

This pretty lady is due July 8th, but I let her know that if she wants to have the baby 7 days early, i’m alright with that. With my birthday on the first, and all, it would be a fun birthday present. HA! I was kidding….sorta.

We spend the evening getting blown by the crazy Columbia Basin wind, and them laughing at me making Zach hum Lion King songs, but I loved that they were willing to stand on part of the cliff (which wasn’t REALLY a cliff, more like a hill with rocks) for me to jump through all the sagebrush and rocks to get some of the coolest shots, ever. I mean, EVERRRR.
