This airplane travel inspired couple shoot has been on my mind for quite some time. If you have ever been on Pinterest, I’m sure you’ve seen those images out there with the couple standing in front of the adorable plane, or the couple that consists of the fighter pilot with his gorgeous fiancee in front of the awesome old army planes! Well if you haven’t seen them, this shoot will be even more awesome than I think it is! 😀

While I was thinking of this shoot coming to life in my head, I was having the hardest time thinking of who I would want to be the lucky couple to be involved with it. Fortunately for me, my husband’s cousin and his wife just recently moved back to Mattawa to start their life here! They are literally the perfect couple for this shoot! They’re adorable, and pretty much professionals when it comes to being models! 😉 The icing on the cake was that my husband’s uncle even had the PERFECT plane to use for the shoot. So we spent a few weeks planning, and thinking of clothing options, hair, makeup (though I knew Morgan had it covered! She’s a Mary Kay consultant, and the BEST at her job!!), and planning the day it was going to happen.

We lucked out on the weather, even if we didn’t get the amazing sunset I was hoping for, but I absolutely LOVE how the shoot turned out! I can’t wait to start offering more “styled” engagement shoots for my couples, and I knew this would be the perfect way to start it off!!!
