Fate can have a funny way of bringing two people together. I’m never surprised anymore when I hear how about my couples meet, regardless of how it happens. These two met thanks to the LDS dating app, “Mutual.” She told me that they knew they were going to get married after a week, and I absolutely loved that, and I loved spending the day with them at their Sugar Pine Barn wedding. It was pretty clear to me how it only took a short time for these two to realize they had found their person. They have been seeing each other back and forth from Utah to San Diego for the past 7 months or so, and now they don’t have to anymore!

Chris proposed to Cassie after he had met her family and asked for her mother’s blessing. He told her that he’s never felt more at peace that how he feels with her and her wind resembles a willow branch to represent that. I LOVE how unique her ring was, and that it means something so special to the two of them.

Leading up to their wedding day, they had ran into a few snags! Cassie’s house flooded, her dress was late getting to the dress store, and then they got a phone call that their venue had flooded! With some quick thinking of Gariann of Tin Sparrow Events, they were able to lock down the weekend at Sugar Pine Barn by Tucannon Cellars, and I was pretty stoked about that! We all decided it was a blessing in disguise! It’s SO gorgeous out there! 🙂

These two were married by Cassie’s brother and it was perfect! They shared some of the sweetest words to each other, along with a poem that Chris wrote about Cassie read by a friend, and a quote read by her sister. They exchanged rings, and sealed it with a kiss, and then celebrated into the night, including a celebratory signing of happy birthday to Chris (we decided he got the BEST birthday present!), and Cassie’s niece singing them a beautiful song!!I just loved spending the day with these two and their families!

Chris and Cassie! I’m so excited for the two of you!!! I love how you two love each other, and I love the support system you have behind it!! I know you’re going to do some amazing things together, and I can’t wait to see!! Congrats!! And thank you for allowing me to be a part of it!
