I’ve been so excited to shoot this Rocky Pond Winery Wedding. This was one of my 2020 weddings that was postponed due to COVID, and I’ve been anticipating it for what feels like forever! I’m sure these two have felt the same way, and it was so great getting to celebrate with them and their sweet families.
There were so many personal touches to the day that helped make it extra special. Rocky Pond Winery is owned by some of the groom’s parent’s friends. The groom’s father officiated the ceremony. There were siblings on BOTH sides of the bridal parties. And one of the best toasts/raps from the bride’s sisters helped complete the night. It was a very special day!
I was a little worried leading up to their wedding day about the weather. There have been some pretty large fires in Northern Central Washington the past few weeks and we have had some terrible smoke in the area. Somehow, we lucked out though, and the wind blew it all out the days leading up to the wedding, and the temperatures dropped significantly from where they have been the first few weeks. It was a little on the breezy side which made it difficult to keep tables set for the reception, but the set up crew was quick-to-think and got things handled quickly and without a hitch.
There were so many parts of the day that I loved, but only so many words that I could put to it, so instead of just rambling on, I’ll show you the magic instead.
Austin and Aynsley- You finally did it!!! It’s been over a year in progress, but you guys are finally official, and i’m so excited for you! I can’t wait to see what next adventures lie ahead, but I know that with the two of you, there’s nothing that can hold you back! Thanks again for letting me be a small part of it! Congrats!!
