I was so excited a few months back when Jacqlyn asked me to be her wedding photographer and shoot this riverside engagement session. Her sister is one of my past brides (see Kelsie’s Leavenworth wedding here!), and I was so excited when I found out she was engaged and getting married to Jordan!

These two actually went to the same preschool, but it wouldn’t be until later in their lives that they would meet up. They both grew up in Tri-cities, and ended up at school at Eastern Washington University. That is where they met, but it wasn’t there that the magic happened. It wasn’t until the were reppin’ the khakis and red shirts for Target that they started hanging out. They both got through school, and now live happily in Spokane with their golden retrievers.

I was slightly bummed that their boys weren’t at their session, but I know how crazy one golden is, let alone two, in a new area with new smells and even a bunny at one point. It would have been madness.

We did bond over our love of goldens, I tried to make them laugh a lot, and we came across a couple kids with a hatchet and a 22 AND another crazy lady walking along the side of the highway with a gun (she was hunting something). The session wasn’t short of excitement, including mine for their wedding the end of next summer in Spokane. It was so fun getting to know these two more.
