Othello Newborn Photographer
I said it just a few weeks ago, but being a newborn photographer is so much fun. I love being able to snuggle those newborns, and then come home and sleep all night. Part of me thinks that I want to have another baby, and then I hear the stories from these new mommas, and I don’t think i’m QUITE ready to not get a full nights rest just yet. It’ll happen, I just have to forget what it’s like to not sleep. That said….
Rudy – 10 days new
This baby boy was so precious! We were able to get him to sleep pretty early off, even after his momma, Eden, told me that he generally was sleepier in the afternoon, and we were starting in the morning. We made sure we got him nice and milk drunk, and then bumped up the heat in the house. I always hesitate to tell my new moms and dads that I want them to pump the heat up to about 80 degrees. I always know it’s going to be work for my new dads. Let’s face it, guys don’t like to be hot. I don’t think I’ve EVER met any at least. But he toughed it out. We were melting, but the little guy was nice and cozy in the warm house. I make sure to tell my new parents WHY I want them to do it though! It helps the baby sleep so much better when the house is warm. Especially because almost the whole time, they’re mostly naked! I wouldn’t want to fall asleep in a cold house with no clothes on after I was in a cozy warm atmosphere for 9 months! You can’t blame them! 😉
It was fun to be able to catch up with the parents at this session (I haven’t seen Rudy, baby Rudy’s dad, since high school probably!), and find out who was still living in Othello. We got some great shots the little guy, some super cute family shots, and had a good time with fun props.
Thanks Eden and Rudy for having me in your home!
But without further ado….Meet Rudy!! Born October 22nd @ 7:08. 9 lbs 3 oz. 21 inches long.
