We were a little crazy this time around, and we split up Kyle and Kyla’s orchard engagement photos! Kyle is my husband’s cousin, and we decided as a family to go to Hawaii to surprise their Grandpa for his 80th birthday. Their grandparents have been going to Hawaii every year for the last 20 years so no one has ever gotten to spend that day with him. Kyle and Kyla knew they wanted to get some photos out of the way so they could use them for their invites, but then I had the crazy idea to get some photos while in Hawaii at sunset on the beach!!

When we did their engagement session on the “main land” it was SO windy. I think we picked out the windiest day of the year, but they were good sports, and we were able to find some good spots that were *sort of* blocked from the wind, but the most fun were definitely when we were in Maui, on the beach. I think i could live there, as long as i had A/C.

Kyle and Kyla met through some friends. If i remember correctly, Kyla was dating one of Kyle’s friends, but she knew that it wasn’t going anywhere, so she gave Kyle a shot. They didn’t hit it off right at first, and Kyla played a little hard to get, but Kyle was persistent. Even though she broke his heart at one point, they gave it another go, and I’m so happy they did. These two are so fun, and they really do compliment each other perfectly!
