I hadn’t had a chance to explore the dunes around Tri-cities until this fun Juniper Dunes engagement session! I have wanted to go out there for some time, but just didn’t have a good enough reason to make the trek until these two recommended it as a location for their engagement session! I loved the idea, and I’m so glad we made it happen!
We laughed on the way out there because it felt more like a roller coaster on the road with our cars, and I found myself wishing I was in my friends RZR, but it was definitely an adventure. I loved getting to know these two a bit more and getting to enjoy the gorgeous desert in our area.
I’m getting less and less surprised when my couples tell me they met online. I feel like 10 years ago, it was such a taboo thing, and people told you that if you did it you would definitely be murdered by the person, but now things are so different. It makes me laugh, but it also makes sense. You have more of a chance when you’re looking for someone if you can go OUTSIDE your normal area, and maybe you’re a little bolder when you can be online first. Who knows.
These two met on Plenty-of-Fish, and it wasn’t until a few weeks of talking on their that they finally got each other phone numbers (you gotta weed out the crazies, ya know). They went on a date two weeks later, and as Amanda says it they have “been pretty inseparable ever since.” I loved seeing how comfortable they are with each other, and how they make each other laugh during out engagement session. Brad played along with my crazy games, and Amanda was a trooper trekking around in the sand in heels.
I was bummed, however, that I didn’t get to meet their adorable little guy during their engagement session! They have a 10 month old together, and they are pretty proud of that accomplishment together. We talked all about how kids are crazy, but we love them so much it makes it all ok. HA!
I’m excited to get to celebrate with these two next summer!!
