Wedding days are crazy. Your timeline can fly out the window, your stress level is through the roof. It goes by so fast and before you know it, everything you’ve been planning for is over. That’s why I love doing a day after session. It’s a fun time to dress back up into your wedding attire, but this time, without the stress of your wedding day. You get your hair and makeup done again, possibly get another bouquet, and your man gets dressed up for you one last time in his wedding best!

Sounds like a win-win to me!

Most of my couples opt to do a first look. Most of that is because I inform them that with a first look, you’ll have about 40% more photos of the two of you than if you weren’t to do a first look. I would say 95% of my couples choose to do a first look. And I love that. For those that don’t, I don’t try to sway them! It’s their wedding day!! I just make sure to educate them of the difference so they can make the best decision possible! JR and Alyssa knew that they wanted to wait until the actual ceremony to see on each other, but they knew that they wanted more photos of just the two of them than what they would get on their wedding day! I told them about a day-after session, and they knew it would be perfect!!

Their wedding day flew by, and we literally only had minutes for their formal photos of just the two of them! Guests were waiting for dinner, and we knew we had to hustle! I was so relieved when I remembered that in just a few weeks I would get them all to myself again, but without a timeline! And it was magical!

We got to go an awesome location that we wouldn’t have been able to get to on the wedding day, and it looked like it was straight out of a movie! Alyssa made a beautiful bride, and you can practically feel the love JR has for this girl! You guys are some of my favorites, and I can’t wait to see what you guys can accomplish together!
