This family is SUPER duper special to me. You see, Alyssa is one of my best friends, and do a whole lot together. We go to town like every week for grocery shopping, we go walking together, we go to town for shopping trips, and we love to eat taco wagon. Life just wasn’t the same without Alyssa, and at one point, her and Nick were still down in Idaho at school. They had moved home for a little while, and became friends, but then they went BACK down to school to finish up. Around the same time, our other friends moved down to Arizona, and another to Utah. So I was stuck, all alone, and it was a huge bummer.
I was so excited when they actually moved home FOR GOOD, though we had a brief moment of panic when I once heard they might be moving to Quincy, but that all got squashed quick, so no worries here. HA! They have the cutest baby girl, Oakley, who Raylee ADORES! It’s so fun to see them play together, even thought Oakley is about the same size as Raylee. Raylee likes to pat her on the head like a dog, give her kisses, and then Oakley will give hugs, and they both laugh and have a great time. It’s too cute.
When Alyssa told me they needed new family photos, I was pretty excited. Mostly because she said “you can dress me, and tell me where, and do my makeup, and…..” She just gave me the freedom to do all the things, so naturally I decided we should do their photos on the top of Saddle Mountain! I didn’t think about how freezing and windy it would be though, so we had to work fast so poor Oakley didn’t freeze. I think it was worth it!
I love this sweet little family, and I’m pretty happy to call them friends. 🙂
