This year I got to go back to some of my favorite places for weddings, and that was also true for this Intimate NaMu Lodge Wedding. Years ago, I headed to Leavenworth and photographed a beautiful wedding at Namu Lodge, and we ended the night at Viscontis! It was such a fun day, and I was so excited when I heard from Savannah’s mom about their plans to get married at the Lodge this fall!

The weather was absolutely perfect. Leading up their wedding day, I had checked out the weather and was a little worried when I saw rain at like 80% chance ALL day the day before. I was even more stressed when it said it the morning of the wedding, but the clouds aligned and we only had about 10 minutes of a little sprinkling of rain their entire wedding day. It couldn’t have been better. The sun even came out a little during their “sunset” portraits and we got the prettiest light, I didn’t want to stop taking photos of them, but figured we should so they could get back to their families.

I know I have said it before, but I think it’s so sweet when my couples are married by someone close to them, and Dawson’s Papa married these two in the sweetest ceremony. He had them participate a little by asking where they met and how Dawson proposed, and reminded them to keep God in the middle of their marriage. He did an amazing job, and that will be so special for them for their whole lives. I loved it!

Their colors were the perfect fit to the fall colors in Leavenworth. I loved the mismatched bridesmaids dresses, and the flowers by Patti of Au Natural Designs. It was really just an amazing intimate day for these two and their families.

Dawson and Savannah– Congrats!!! I’m so excited for the two of you. Your wedding day was perfect, and I hope it was everything you hoped for. Your families were the kindest people, and you have an army of support behind you (pun not intended). Thank you for letting me be a part of it all!
