This Horse Heaven Hills Engagement Session was the perfect way to start an exciting engagement season! I was so excited to get to meet Brandon and Chloe for their session! I knew from the first time that we Skyped that we would have so much fun together, and I wasn’t wrong. We laughed, got a little wet in the rain, and frolicked with the deer in the field. It was such a great time, and I loved getting to know these two more!
I had asked Chloe a bit about their relationship so she’ll take it away from here:
Where and how did you meet?
We were set up by my best friend Laura and his brother (they are together and will be our maid of honor and best man). I had told Laura I didn’t want to go out unless he loved Jesus, was a farmer, and played baseball. Well I ate my words because Brandon was of course all of those things! So I finally agreed to have her arrange a group hangout (I wasn’t going on no stinking blind date just the two of us). We met when they came to pick me up we went to get Mexican food and ended up watching movies after dinner. Brandon then drove me home and right then we could tell we clicked. The next day he asked Laura for my number and we haven’t stopped talking since! I guess they were right about us and we should have listened to them sooner!
How did he propose?
On a Sunday after church, Brandon was driving me home as usual but was taking forever to get out of the car. So I turned around to see what was taking him so long in his hand he had a box and I was trying to figure out what the heck it was when he got down on his knee and proposed. I started laughing (I’m a nervous laugher) ran hugged him and said of course! He told me he proposed to me in my driveway because that was where he had seen me for the first time. It was hands down the most special moment of my life!
SOOOO cute, right?! I had so much fun laughing, and joking around with them during this session, and I’m just THAT much more excited about their fall wedding next year! Until then, just look at how cute they are together.
