Some weddings celebrate the beginning of a marriage, and then, there are weddings that celebrate the journey that has already begun. This beautiful Genesis Farm and Gardens Wedding was exactly that.

One year ago, these two chose to exchange their vows during an intimate ceremony with close family, creating a day that was deeply personal and focused entirely on their love story. It was an honor to document that chapter of their lives, and over the past year I’ve had the privilege of getting to know them as a couple. Watching their relationship grow made returning for this celebration even more meaningful.

On their first anniversary, they gathered with the people who have loved and supported them from the very beginning. Surrounded by family and friends, they finally had the opportunity to celebrate. There was something incredibly special about the day—not because it marked the start of their marriage, but because it honored everything they had experienced over the past year, including Anastasia completing dental school this summer!!! We bonded over our love for all things dental, and I’m excited to watch her start that adventure as well!

Genesis Farm and Gardens provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration. With lush gardens in full bloom and the peaceful beauty of the Pacific Northwest surrounding them, every corner of the venue felt romantic and inviting. The garden setting created an atmosphere that was elegant without feeling formal, allowing guests to relax, laugh, and fully enjoy every moment.

And speaking of guests—they absolutely understood the assignment. Everyone arrived dressed to impress, adding vibrant colors, stylish attire, and so much personality to the already stunning setting. It felt like a garden party straight out of a storybook, with beautiful fashion complementing the colorful blooms all around them.
