Newborn photographer is one of my favorite things to do. It’s right up there with wedding photography on my favorites, and this little girl didn’t disappoint at her Othello Newborn photography session.
If you haven’t read my blog posts about Angie and Jesus’ struggle of infertility you can see their maternity photos here, and Evangeleen’s birth story here, and get a little bit more of a back story.
This little baby is very special. She was wanted so much by her parents, and after many prayers and tears and sleepless nights, she joined her family of mom, dad, and a couple yorkies May 11, 2015 at 12:40 AM. I was so blessed to be a part of this throughout and I’m grateful for that opportunity.
This little girl wanted to keep me on my toes during the day and at 5 days new acted like she was going through a growth spurt. She wanted to eat almost every 45 minutes leaving her momma pretty exhausted. With the help of my handy-dandy noise machine, and a heater, we were able to finally get her to fall asleep after about 2 hours of more lifestyle like shots without her posing. Once she finally fell asleep, she was like butter and melted into her poses, but a few she was none too happy about. She really disliked being on her belly, and just wanted to snuggle on her side, with her hands in her face. She was a pretty cute little model, and really is one of the prettiest babies I have ever worked with.
Coming in at 6 lbs 14 ounces, and 19 1/2 inches–Miss Evangeleen–5 days new.
