I’m so excited to share this wedding at Stone Ridge Event Center with you!

The Backstory

I seriously love all my clients, but when I heard the story of how Jayel and EJ met, I knew we were going to have a great time together and take some great photos. She explained to me that they met when she was living in Florida, and when she came back ‘home’ then went on a date. She explained to me this way: “right before we met he asked if we could go dutch, which almost made it so we didn’t meet but since i was going to have to eat anyways i decided to go.  I mean how bad could it be, it would only be an hour out of my life, right!?!?!” Oh man. I laughed so hard at that and i knew we were going to get along great and take some great photos in the process.  So she went on the date, and they totally hit it off and have been inseparable since.

The Wedding

The love that these two have for each other is so evident, and it was great getting to know them.
Their wedding was at the gorgeous Stone Ridge Event Center in Pasco. Each time I go there, I remember how much I love it, and it ALMOST makes me wish I had my own wedding venue–then I think about how much work it would be, and I think I’ll just stick with wedding photography. They had a very personal ceremony with family and a few friends, and then celebrated their love–with fried chicken and garlic mashed potatoes-YUM, and THE BEST cupcakes I’ve ever had!!!!
I loved all the details of their wedding, from their awesome rings, to the perfect fall colors, to their personalized Chuck’s! It was a perfect fall day, and although there were a few snags in the day (there always has to be something) EJ and Jayel were a delight to work with, and I’m so grateful I got to document such a special day for them.
