This spring, I started thinking about the possibilities of throwing together a Eagle Lakes Ranch Wedding inspiration photo shoot! I reached out to a few wedding planners inquiring about the possibilities of them being a part of it, and helping with setting it up, and found one that was totally interested. We met up and got along great, started planning, but then she got the horrible news that her mother was diagnosed with cancer. I was left thinking that the shoot wasn’t going to happen, and I had already gotten so many things together, and I knew that it still HAD to happen. I had to find some new vendors because she had started to set some up, but I had no way to get in touch with them, and I’m beyond happy with the vendors that worked with me on this.
Eagle Lakes Ranch
I knew that I wanted to do the styled shoot at Eagle Lakes Ranch Lodge in Othello, WA. It’s a gorgeous mix of rustic and elegance, and the views aren’t too bad either, I knew it would make for some great photos. Not to mention they had the perfect table that I was wanting for a sweetheart table! That was a plus!
Fall Wedding Inspiration
I knew I wanted deep rich hues for this shoot. Initially I wanted marsala, the pantone color of 2015, but quickly realized that it was a tad too orange for my liking, and I switched it to burgundy. I wanted blushes and gold as accents. My inspiration piece was a set of Royal Albert china from Macy’s that I LOVE! Mostly all of my gold mercury glass vases and candle holders were bought from Hobby Lobby, and i’m SO happy how it all came together.
Vendors
A HUUUUGE shout out to my vendors who helped me out with this shoot. It may have been kind of stressful for a few of us, but i’m SO happy how it all came together. And a big thanks to my amazing models! So glad I could get them into their wedding attire one more time!
