We have another Class of 2016 Wahluke High School senior!! Woot woot!

I’ve gotten to know this gorgeous girl pretty well over the last few years. I was one of her youth leaders in church for a few years until she got to move up to the older group of girls, and I’ve gotten to watch her grow into an amazing young lady! Clarissa had a huge heart and has a great love of animals. She is kind and very creative. I knew our session together was going to be a blast.

We started at her house because she wanted to get some pictures with the kittens that they have, but the kittens had different ideas. At one point there were, I think, four in a basket, but as soon as they were in the basket, they were out. Although it was pretty entertaining, they were not the best models, and weren’t too cooperative. Clarissa, on the other hand, rocked it! After we got some great pictures around the house, we headed down to the river. I was super excited because her mom had mentioned that Clarissa had a formal dress, but when she said they wanted to take those pictures down by the river, I was a little confused. Then her mom said “well, I don’t mind if it gets wet,” and I knew what we had to do! (If you love this session in the river, check out Valerie’s gorgeous session HERE!)

Our last location was another area around their home, with a gorgeous view of Desert Aire, Washington. The sun was setting, giving us some amazing light, along with a very pretty girl. Those images are some of my favorite for sure!
