This family session may look like it has a familiar last name….because it does. HA! I have been waiting to photograph my brother and sister-in-laws family for almost a year now, and the stars aligned, and we were finally able to book a time that worked for both of us! We really lucked out with the weather too! It has been so hit or miss lately, and I’m glad that we didn’t have rain, luckily!

I know I’m completely bias, but I have the cutest family! 🙂 Jamie and Kevin’s wedding at Pine River Ranch was one of the very first weddings I ever shot. I had the awesome opportunity to shoot with the amazing Terra Nyce for their wedding and knew it had to happen. Justin was going to be in their wedding so I would just be sitting alone most of it anyways. Well, with that one wedding I was hooked, and that brings us to today.

I loved their outfits and thought that Jamie did an amazing job getting them to coordinate without being matchy-matchy. We both have a dislike for that in photos, so I was grateful for that. We met down at Chiawana park, and it looked like it was a pretty popular night for taking photos. There were quite a few other photographers around the area, but we were able to find a super cool spot to work with. I really love the area we live in. There’s so much diversity in the land that you would never guess that we were right next to the river, on the other side of the road from houses.

The session was great. We laughed, and visited, and it’s always pleasant working with these guys, even when their crazy pup comes along too. 🙂
