Wedding planning is stressful, and one of the most stressful parts is finding the perfect bridesmaids for your special day. You don’t want to hurt any one’s feelings, but you also don’t want to put them out too much with the expenses. I wanted to give some ideas for bridesmaid’s dresses that don’t break the bank in this weeks wedding planning and tips post!
Rent The Runway
Maybe you’ve never heard of it, but maybe you have! Rent the Runway is an online service that provides designer dresses and accessory rentals. It’s one of my FAVORITE websites to check out when I’m searching for the right dress for an event. From Badgley Mischkas to Kate Spade, they have some AMAZING dresses that would be absolutely perfect for a bridesmaids dress! One of my favorites being this sparkly number!

David’s Bridal or Bridal Boutiques
Sure, you might think of getting YOUR dress from David’s Bridal or a bridal boutique, but not everybody thinks about getting your bridesmaids dresses from there as well! I know I didn’t! They have a wide assortment of styles and designs, and SO many colors! There’s something that can make everyone happy, and usually for a decent price!
ANY Department Store
There are times when your bridesmaids just can’t fork out that much dough for a dress that they will possibly wear only once. In these instance, you can get a little more creative! Stores like Macy’s, Anthropology, LOFT, Jcrew, Nordstroms, and Banana Republic have SO many options when it comes to dresses. You don’t have to necessarily buy a “bridesmaid’ dress. ANY dress with do from ANY store!
Regardless of where you decide to go, make sure you shop around! You want to make sure your bridesmaids like the dresses (I hope) and that they will feel comfortable in them! It is your special day, but you want them to still like you afterwards! 😉
Where did you find your bridesmaids dresses!? And any tips for the hunt for future brides?
