Remember a few months ago, I went gallivanting the country-side with Bryce and Anita around Rosalia? Well, you’re in for an even bigger treat with their beautiful country wedding. These two were married out in the Potholes just north of Othello, and every moment of it was perfect.
When I first showed up to the wedding, I was floored by the gorgeous home of Anita’s family friend! Growing up in Othello, we went out to the Potholes from time to time, and I had even gone fishing with my dad in a lake that’s close to their home. The lake the house overlooked was crystal clear on Bryce and Anita’s wedding day, the weather was perfect, and the location was absolutely stunning.
I was so excited to see so many of the bridesmaids that I went to high school with. I joked with them that it was like a high school reunion, but with people I actually wanted to see. HA! I played around with their wedding details and then it was time for some first looks. Anita had a first look with her dad before her first look with Bryce, and I LOVE when brides do this. It’s a sweet moment for both of them, and it never disappoints. Their’s was no different. After, we went straight into Anita and Bryce’s first look. I knew it since our engagement session but was reminded how much Bryce adores Anita when we did their first look. He was a little nervous beforehand, but as soon as he saw her, he lit up and they were both SO HAPPY. We made all sorts of inappropriate jokes, laughed a ton, and blasted through their portraits because these two are pros. We finished out photos with bridal party and then it was time to wait.
Their ceremony was the perfect amount of jokes and heartfelt messages. These two shared their personal vows to each other, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with their first kiss as husband and wife.
We finished out the night with the yummiest dinner I probably had all year as well as some of the best toasts I had heard too, but not before Anita’s dad, Claudio, played a beautiful song for his daughter. During toasts, Anita was given some great tips of advice for marrying a farmer like: make sure your dinner still tastes good when you heat it up. Plan your babies around harvest unless you want to deliver the baby alone. Get used to the buddy seat in the tractor because that’s where your date nights will be. All great tips for marrying a farmer. We took a moment of silence to remember those we have lost, and laughed at the toaster’s jokes and stories of the two of them. They really were GREAT!
Another part I loved during their dances portion was the daddy/daughter dance. They did a customary Chilean dance called Cueca, and it was so fun to watch!! The end of the night consisted of a beautiful pinata that all the kids got to take a whack at! It was such an amazing day!
Bryce and Anita- I’m so happy for you guys! Anita- it’s so good to see you so happy. It’s obvious how much Bryce loves and adores you, and you deserve it! 🙂 I’m so excited to see you guys grow as a couple. Take those tips Justeen gave you and utilize them! They’ll help you through those long harvest days!! Congrats to both of you guys, and thank you SOOOO much for letting me be a part of such a special day! Love you guys!
