Amy and Jordan Demos are some of the greatest photographers out there! They really believe in love, and you can just SEE the love they have for each other. It’s pretty crazy, but you can practically SEE the glow around Amy when she is around Jordan. They are one of the cutest couples I have ever seen! And not only are they adorable, but they are so filled with knowledge and amazing tips! I am pretty lucky to be one of their students at the International Academy of Wedding Photographers, and I know my fellow classmates feel the same!

Their course is called the “Complete Wedding Client Process” and is filled with SO much information! Here’s just a few of the awesome tips that I got from their amazing course!

***When it comes to responding to client emails, FAST IS BEST! There are time, when you will be the first photographer to get back to them, and that can be something SPECIAL! You are the first one with your foot in the door, and have the potential to be the one and only photographer they meet! It never hurts to be quick to respond! –but don’t be TOO quick! 😉

***When it comes to client meetings, dress for the job you want! You don’t want to show up in dingy clothes and expect to be hired for this elegant, classic wedding. Dress for the job, people!

***One of the greatest tips they give is to read the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. It was written in the 30s, but still rings true to this day. I haven’t gotten to read all of it just yet, but everything I have read to this point is AMAZING! It’s an easy read and really gets you thinking of the best way to work with others. It’s been awesome!

th***When it comes to being a sales person, sell like you want to be sold to. I think I said this in my post from Justin and Mary’s course, but if you don’t like a pushy salesperson, don’t be that pushy salesperson! Sell to your clients how you would want someone to sell something to you!

***Prep your gear AT LEAST (at least! At least! at least!) 24 hours before the wedding, if not earlier than that. If anything is wrong with it, you want to have time to fix the problem.

***When it comes to your couples after the wedding, stay connected to them through social media! (What did we ever do without Facebook!?) Be the friend you would want to have! 😀

***Lastly, Serve your clients with your whole heart! It will help you stand out, and they will feel the love you are trying to share! Be genuine, and it will pay off ten-fold.

These tips are all kind of random, but it’s really because of how much amazing information is in the course! If you’re interested about learning more, check out the link for the Academy HERE! You wouldn’t be disappointed!
