This Hanford High School senior session was a blast to shoot. David’s mom had gotten in touch with me and let me know that they were kind of on a short timeline to be able to get his senior photo in for the yearbook deadline, and luckily, I had some time and we made it happen. We were going to head to Ellensburg to get some city-like shots, but ended up staying in the “country,” and I’m so glad we did. David grew up on the farm and has been here for his whole life, and we felt that it would be more fitting if we took photos there.
We started down at the river and got some amazing light with cool basalt rocks. After that we headed to the local potato sheds and found some awesome locations, even if David didn’t want to climb the grain silos for some shots. Last we headed to the farm as the sun was setting and shot our final spots in the alfalfa field next to his home (some of my FAVORITE shots). We had a good time, and had some good laughs. His mom even climbed the grain silos when David wouldn’t. đ
Congrats David! Work hard this year! đ
